Blend the grilled pineapple, strawberries, lime juice, Noble Saltworks Maple Smoked Turbinado Sugar and water until smooth.
Combine the salt and sugar for garnish in a shallow container or plate. Rub the lime wedge on the rim of a glass. Rim the glass with the salt and sugar mixture.

Recipe Highlights and Insights:
Agua frescas, meaning "fresh waters" in Spanish, have been a refreshing staple in Mexican and Latin American cultures for centuries. Originating from the need to stay cool in the hot climates of Mesoamerica, early agua frescas were made by blending fruits, seeds, or flowers with water and sometimes adding a bit of sweetener. The indigenous peoples, particularly the Aztecs, were known to make drinks using ingredients like hibiscus flowers and chia seeds, which are still popular today. As time passed and European influences arrived, the variety of agua frescas expanded to include more tropical fruits like watermelon, pineapple, and tamarind. Today, agua frescas remain a beloved, natural thirst quencher, often sold by street vendors and enjoyed at family gatherings, embodying a deep connection to Mexican heritage and tradition.
