An Italian-Inspired Evening

Date & Time: Thursday May 28th 6pm

A great dinner out. An expert cooking class. Sommelier-paired wines. All in one evening — and you leave knowing exactly how it was made.

On Thursday, May 28th, award-winning chef and pitmaster Andy Groneman brings a full Italian menu to life in the ATBBQ Teaching Kitchen: Maroulosalata Salad, Black Pepper Spaghetti with homemade Pomodoro, Pork Involtini, and Cherry Focaccia with Chocolate Crémeux. Every course is cooked live, explained as it's made, and paired with a sommelier-selected wine included in your ticket. You're not just watching — you're learning the techniques, the thinking, and the little details that make each dish genuinely special.

You'll leave with a full stomach, a great evening behind you, and a handful of dishes you'll be excited to recreate at home. The kind of food that makes people ask how you did it.

 Fire, Steak & Chocolate

Date & Time: Friday May 29th 6pm

Friday night just got a serious upgrade. On May 29th, Dinner on the Grill returns to the ATBBQ Teaching Kitchen for an evening built around bold flavors, expert technique, and wine that ties it all together.

Award-winning chef and pitmaster Andy Groneman — founder of Smoke on Wheels BBQ — takes the helm for a menu anchored by one of the most underrated cuts in the butcher case: the Teres Major. Tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection with an herbed compound butter and black pepper spaghetti alongside, it's the kind of dish that makes people ask questions. You'll learn exactly how it's done, right there in the kitchen.

The evening kicks off with a classic Caesar Salad and closes with a show-stopping Flourless Chocolate Torte with Cherries Jubilee — every course thoughtfully paired with a sommelier-selected wine included in your ticket. You'll eat well, drink well, and leave with the kind of cooking knowledge that actually sticks.

COOKING CLASS

Grilled Chickens 3 Ways

Saturday May 30th
11:00 Am

CLASSES SOLD OUT

Chicken Three Ways with Andy Groneman

Most people cook chicken the same way every time. Or it’s dry. Or it’s bland. Or all of the above. This class changes that. In this two-hour cooking class, award-winning chef and pitmaster Andy Groneman — founder of Smoke on Wheels BBQ — walks you through three completely different techniques for cooking chicken on the grill.

Spiedini: Italian-style skewers, grilled with bright, bold flavor. Competition-Style Thighs: the juicy, lacquered, bite-through-skin thighs that win BBQ competitions. And a Spatchcocked Whole Bird: the technique that guarantees even cooking, crispy skin, and a fully cooked bird every single time.

Three methods, three results, all explained and demonstrated by one of the best in the business. You'll leave with skills you can put to work immediately — and the confidence to cook chicken in a way that actually impresses people.

Fundamentals class

YODER SMOKERS YS640s

Thursday June 4th
5pm-7pm

If you own a Yoder Smokers pellet grill and want to learn how to make even better food on it, this class is for you. In our demonstration-forward and interactive Get to Know Your Grill: YS640s Fundamentals class, you’ll see two foundational cooking styles in action, low and slow smoking for things like ribs, chicken, brisket and pork butts, and over-the-flame grilling for cooking things like burgers, chicken breasts and brats. We’ll also cover how to set up the Fireboard app to manage track and manage your cooks from your phone. Armed with these bedrock skills, you’ll be ready to turn out fantastic dishes cooked on either end of this wide cooking spectrum.

The class will be hosted on the ATBBQ patio by our in-house cooking and product pros. The event is free to attend, but tickets are limited. There will be refreshing beverages in a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere. There will also be time to ask questions, so if you have questions or hair-brained ideas for cooking on your Yoder Smokers pellet grill, this is the best sounding board you’ll find.

Fundamentals Class

FireBoard App

thursday June 18
5pm-7pm

Your Yoder Smokers pellet grill is built to do incredible things—and the FireBoard app is what
puts you fully in control. But most owners never get past the basics. This free, owner-exclusive
class changes that.

In 90 minutes, you'll go from scratching the surface to actually using the app the way it was
designed: monitoring your cook from anywhere, setting alarms that free you from the grill,
reading graphs to understand what's really happening inside your cook, and—best of all—running
Programs that automate multi-step cooks from start to finish. We'll walk through a live
demonstration of a fully automated chicken cook that handles smoke, temperature, and hold all
on its own. You set it up, and the grill handles the rest.

You'll leave with real, practical skills you can put to work the very next time you fire up your
Yoder. Less guesswork, more consistency, and cooks your family and friends won't stop talking
about
