All Things Barbecue invites you to join us in our test kitchen for an immersive experience in mastering grilling and smoking techniques. Led by our inhouse expert, Chef Tom, these hands-on education events are designed to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge needed to become a true grill master.

Whether you’re new to grilling or looking to refine your BBQ skills, Chef Tom will guide you through the techniques, tools, and insider tips that will take your grilling and smoking game to the next level. From temperature control and mastering different types of wood and charcoal to perfecting the art of smoking meats and vegetables, each class offers a blend of instruction and hands-on practice.

Dinner on the Grill
September 26th from 6pm to 8:30pm

Join us for an unforgettable evening where Chef Tom prepares for you a three-course global grilling experience.

Step onto the patio and into a flavor-forward evening with our Dinner on the Grill class—a curated, three-course experience where bold global flavors meet live-fire cooking.

In this hands-on class, you’ll learn to craft an elevated dinner entirely over the grill, blending traditional BBQ techniques with refined plating and exotic ingredients.

The Menu:

Appetizer

Creamy, stone-ground blue corn cheese grits with rich, buttery crab étouffée and seared andouille sausage, bringing together smoky, spicy, and savory elements in a soulful Southern comfort bowl with deep coastal flavor.

Main Course

Cajun Surf & Turf dish that brings together flame-seared steak and shrimp in a rich Alfredo sauce, served over gumbo-style risotto with a bold finish of grilled pickled okra for tang and char.

Dessert

Finish with Caramelized Upside-Down Pear Bread Pudding. Rich and decadent, featuring golden, buttery pears baked into a soft custard-soaked bread base, finished with a bright, tangy plum sauce that cuts through the sweetness with balance and depth.

Smoke & Sauce: Wings, Burnt Ends & Beer Cheese

Pimento Beer Cheese Dip: 
This creamy, smoky Dip blends sharp cheddar, pimentos, and a splash of craft beer for a rich, melty spread with just the right amount of Southern twang and pub-style bite.

Alabama White Chicken Wings: 
Wood-fired to smoky perfection, then dunked in a tangy, peppery white barbecue sauce that blends mayo, vinegar, and spice for a bold Southern twist on classic wings.

Tri-tip Burnt Ends:
Take the rich, beefy flavor of tri-tip and transform it into tender, bark-crusted cubes caramelized in sauce and smoke—delivering the bold, buttery bite of traditional burnt ends with a twist.

Parking is available in front of or behind All Things Barbecue located at 818 West Douglas, Wichita Kansas.

Please enter the building through the front door at 818 or the courtyard door into 818. Check in with our staff, and you will be directed to the kitchen.
