Umbrella Base sold separately. Minimum 100lb base required. If the umbrella is freestanding or used with a lightweight table, we recommend a heavier base or using our 30lb add-on weight. 

How to Operate Crank Lift Feature

The easy Crank Lift feature allows the umbrella to telescope upward to close over a dining height tabletop. Simply crank the handle clockwise to open, then crank the handle counterclockwise to close. While closing, the top of the umbrella telescopes up to avoid impact with the table (if umbrella is placed in a table). We recommend using the ties to secure the canopy after closing, to help prevent wind damage. 

The umbrella and canopy washes easily by spraying with a garden hose and allowing to air dry.
