Class Synopsis
Croissant Loaf: A croissant loaf class invites bakers to explore the rich, buttery world of laminated dough in a new and exciting form. Participants learn the techniques behind layering butter and dough to achieve the signature flaky texture of a croissant, then shape and bake it into a beautiful pull-apart loaf. The class focuses on precision, patience, and the science of temperature control, while offering tips for creating golden, airy layers and a tender crumb. It’s an ideal experience for anyone looking to improve their baking skills and bring a touch of French-inspired artistry to their home kitchen.
Indian Spiced Clay Pot Chicken: We immerse participants in the vibrant flavors and traditional cooking methods of Indian cuisine. Students learn to marinate tender chicken in a blend of aromatic spices, yogurt, and herbs, then cook it slowly in a clay pot to achieve deep, earthy flavor and succulent texture. The class highlights the balance of heat and fragrance in Indian spices, the importance of layering flavors, and the unique benefits of clay pot cooking. It’s a sensory journey that combines culture, technique, and the joy of creating a richly spiced, comforting dish.
