The Soji Stella lantern is solar-powered: during daylight the solar panel charges an included AAA rechargeable Ni-MH battery, and at dusk the lantern automatically illuminates using dual high-powered LEDs to cast decorative light patterns.

Yes — the cylindrical design has a flat base so it can be placed on a table or flat surface, and also includes a loop/hanging point so it can be suspended from a tree, porch hook, or line. Use it at a patio, deck, or garden space for ambiance.

Place the lantern in direct sunlight for several hours (6+ is ideal) so it charges fully. At least once a season check and clean the outer Tyvek shell and the solar panel (wipe with a soft cloth).
