A Practical Grill Station Built To Stay

TRADING A GRILL CART FOR SOMETHING PERMANENT

WHERE THE CART USED TO SIT, A PERMANENT KITCHEN NOW STANDS

They loved to grill — they just didn't love grilling off a cart. This build swaps a gas cart grill for a built-in grill station, sized to fit a tight patio footprint and anchored right where the gas line and electrical were already waiting.

The location for this one was never really in question. The gas line and electrical were already roughed in from the cart grill days, so the new station went right where it made sense. The real challenge was working around what was already there — a sliding door on one side and a screened section of the patio boxing in just how much kitchen would fit. With the footprint set, the biggest decision left was making sure the grill itself was the right one for how much they actually cook.

That grill is a Blaze 40" LTE Pro — one of Blaze's more premium models, and it shows. Multiple grilling zones mean real flexibility on temperature, a digital display keeps track of what's happening without guesswork, and the built-in meat probes and rotisserie kit mean this grill can do a lot more than the cart it replaced. Flanking it, a set of Quivira access doors and a triple drawer turn the rest of the station into real storage and counter space — everything they needed right where they needed it.

The cart grill is off the patio for good. In its place is a permanent station that looks like it belongs with the rest of the house — and a grill upgrade they'll be enjoying for a long time to come.
