Vaughn Smoking Wood Chips are filtered to remove both the chunks and dust from the chipping process. This gives a more uniform and even burn which means more smoke flavor. We recommend soaking chips for 30 to 45 minutes before use. After the chips have been drained of water, lay them directly on charcoal or in your wood chip box or tray for wonderful smoke flavor.
